DuO was based upon research regarding the best forms of collaboration in the workplace.
Rather than the conventional thinking that collaboration occurs in a meeting space or breakout area, 70 percent of collaboration actually occurs at the desk.

We wanted to enable people to collaborate at their desk in a democratic and seamless way.
We also wanted a warm and elegant design, one that felt welcoming and obvious to use.

Designing multiple versions of the storage unit (singles and doubles) allowed for many configuration options for different layouts.
